Hannover, HSC

Hannover, HSC was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Hannover, HSC, 48 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Hannover, HSC could be found in Group 8 together with Bossekop UL, BK Häcken and Holmalunds IF. Hannover, HSC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Smedby AIS with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Örby won over Smedby AIS and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Hannover, HSC also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 Play off B, but lost it against FC Connecticut with 1-5. Hannover, HSC comes from Hannover which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hannover does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (VfL Westercelle and Heesseler SV).
