Pinheiros, E.C.

Pinheiros, E.C. was one of 13 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Pinheiros, E.C., 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Pinheiros, E.C. could be found in Group 33 together with Enebybergs IF 2, BK Häcken 2 and IFK Kalix. Pinheiros, E.C. continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against PFC Botev with 0-1. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Pinheiros, E.C. comes from são paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
