TV Welle

TV Welle was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to TV Welle, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof TV Welle could be found in Group 2 together with FC Beyond, Academia Juvenil Lleida and Örgryte IS. TV Welle continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Donsö IS with 2-3. In the Final, AS Poissy won over Club Paris Mexico and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Welle comes from Welle which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Welle does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (FC Este 2012, SC Nienstedten, TSV Buchholz 08 and Altona 93).
