Torup/Rydö FF

Torup/Rydö FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Torup/Rydö FF, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Torup/Rydö FF could be found in Group 22 together with IK Arvika Fotboll, Prior Lake Soccer Club, Matfors IF and FC Djursholm. Torup/Rydö FF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Alnö IF with 2-3. In the Final, Santa Monica United won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Torup/Rydö comes from Torup which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Torup does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Skrea IF, IS Halmia, Centern, IF, BK Astrio and IF Böljan).
