Hif/Stein HFK

Hif/Stein HFK was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Hif/Stein HFK, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Hif/Stein HFK could be found in Group 3 together with St. Paul Blackhawks 1, AIK FF and Kinetic Academy. Hif/Stein HFK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SC Victoria with 0-4. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Hif/Stein HFK comes from Hammerfest which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
