Långsele AIF

Långsele AIF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Långsele AIF, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Långsele AIF could be found in Group 44 together with SC Borgfeld eV 2, SFK Rotalis and Trosa-Vagnhärad SK. Långsele AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm 1 with 0-11. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Långsele AIF comes from Långsele which lies approximately 670 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Långsele AIF, the club Sollefteå GIF FF does also originate from the area around Långsele.
