Hondarribi

Hondarribi was one of 13 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Hondarribi, 80 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Hondarribi could be found in Group 8 together with Borens IK, Skiljebo SK and Ridabu IL. Hondarribi continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SSC Hagen Ahrensburg with 2-4. In the Final, Tromsø IL won over Norrstrands IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Hondarribi comes from Hondarribia which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Hondarribi, the club Groseko K.E. does also originate from the area around Hondarribia.
