Andromeda SC

Andromeda SC was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Andromeda SC, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Andromeda SC could be found in Group 2 together with Alvesta GIF, IF Brommapojkarna and Västanfors IF. Andromeda SC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Jitex Mölndal BK with 1-2. In the Final, ASD Femminile Inter Milano won over SK Haugar and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Andromeda comes from Dallas which lies approximately 7200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
