AIS Vienna

AIS Vienna was one of five clubs from Austria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to AIS Vienna, 224 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof AIS Vienna could be found in Group 46 together with Vasalunds IF, Kållered SK and Piteå IF. AIS Vienna continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against NK BUBAMARA with 0-7. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. AIS Vienna also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Fortuna FF with 0-2. AIS Vienna comes from Vienna which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
