Vinslövs IF

Vinslövs IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Vinslövs IF, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Vinslövs IF could be found in Group 46 together with TuS Makkabi Frankfurt, Avanti Wilskracht and Jönköpings Södra IF 2. Vinslövs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Tiigrid with 1-5. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Vinslövs comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vinslöv does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: FC Hessleholm, Åhus IF, Hörby FF, Kristianstad FC, Vittsjö GIK, Åhus Horna BK, IFK Hässleholm, IFK Knislinge, Nosaby IF and Sösdala IF).
