Tallboda IF/Vikingstad

Tallboda IF/Vikingstad was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Tallboda IF/Vikingstad, 80 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Tallboda IF/Vikingstad could be found in Group 19 together with Bagarmossen Kärrtorp BK, KGS Wittmund, Medkila IL and Kiruna FF. Tallboda IF/Vikingstad continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hörby FF with 0-1. In the Final, Tromsø IL won over Norrstrands IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Tallboda IF/Vikingstad comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Svärtinge SK, Stångebro United, Lindö FF Norrköping, Åtvidabergs FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Mjölby AI/FF, Linköping Kenty DFF, BK Ljungsbro and BK Derby).
