Myssjö/Ovikens IF

Myssjö/Ovikens IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Myssjö/Ovikens IF, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Myssjö/Ovikens IF could be found in Group 46 together with Vaksala SK, FH 2 and SV Lippstadt 08. Myssjö/Ovikens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fc Burlöv with 0-2. In the Final, Walddörfer SV 1 won over Lerums IS 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Myssjö/Ovikens comes from Oviken which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oviken does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (IFK Östersund, Ope IF and Östersunds FK).
