Wycombe D.F.C

Wycombe D.F.C was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Wycombe D.F.C, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Wycombe D.F.C could be found in Group 38 together with Coerver Coaching Tunisie 2, Torslanda IK and Sparsörs AIK. Wycombe D.F.C continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Accademia I.C. with 1-5. In the Final, Pumas Oro, Monterrey won over Azzurri and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Wycombe D.F.C comes from Buckinghamshire which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Buckinghamshire does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Prep School Lions, Elm Grove Colts, Style Soccer FC and Prep School Pumas).
