Åhus Horna BK

Åhus Horna BK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus Horna BK, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Åhus Horna BK could be found in Group 21 together with ASIOP Apacinti, Gerdskens BK and SC Nienstedten. Åhus Horna BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld with 0-4. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Sandarna BK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åhus Horna comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Åhus IF, Kristianstad FC, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, Nosaby IF, Kristianstad DFF and Mjällby AIF).
