Sparsörs AIK

Sparsörs AIK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Sparsörs AIK, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Sparsörs AIK could be found in Group 38 together with Coerver Coaching Tunisie 2, Wycombe D.F.C and Torslanda IK. Sparsörs AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against JSSL Arsenal Singapore with 2-4. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Sparsörs AIK comes from Sparsör which lies approximately 61 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sparsör does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Holmalunds IF, Gerdskens BK, Vårgårda IK, IFK Örby, Floda BoIF, Ulricehamns IFK, Kinna IF, Skene IF, Dalstorps IF and Tranemo IF).
