IF Warta

IF Warta was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IF Warta, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof IF Warta could be found in Group 29 together with Triangelns IK, FK Lillehammer 1 and TDT Brasil. IF Warta continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Association Génération Mazagan with 0-4. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Warta originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 77 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: FT14, Lindome GIF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Hisingsbacka FC, Älvängens IK, Mossens BK, Dalen/KFF, Örgryte IS, Näsets SK and Tölö IF).
