Lindsdal IF

Lindsdal IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Lindsdal IF, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Lindsdal IF could be found in Group 4 together with Jitex Mölndal BK 1, PK-35 and Enebybergs IF. Lindsdal IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Global Premier SC with 0-9. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Huddinge IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Lindsdal comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Madesjö IF, Mörbylånga GoIF, Färjestadens GoIF, Smedby BoIK, Mönsterås GoIF, Kalmar FF and IFK Kalmar).
