Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold

Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold was one of 13 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold, 74 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold could be found in Group 7 together with Älvängens IK, IF Brommapojkarna 3 and Gefle IF. Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gasteizko Neskak with 6-7. In the Final, AIK FF won over The Calgary Foothills Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold comes from Ballerup which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ballerup does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Fortuna FF, Greve Fodbold, Hellerup IK, Glumslövs FF and Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK).
