Finlandia-Pallo AIF

Finlandia-Pallo AIF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Finlandia-Pallo AIF, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Finlandia-Pallo AIF could be found in Group 4 together with La Salésienne de Paris 1, IF Brommapojkarna and Stars'n Stripes. Finlandia-Pallo AIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Abu Dhabi Youth FC with 5-6. In the Final, AS Poissy won over Club Paris Mexico and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Finlandia-Pallo AIF originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 77 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: FT14, Lindome GIF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Hisingsbacka FC, Älvängens IK, Mossens BK, Dalen/KFF, Örgryte IS, Näsets SK and Tölö IF).
