IF Tyristubben

IF Tyristubben was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to IF Tyristubben, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof IF Tyristubben could be found in Group 7 together with Linero IF 2, Märsta IK 1 and Shoot Football Academy. IF Tyristubben continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Aspudden-Tellus 2 with 0-2. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Tyristubben comes from Tyristrand which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tyristrand does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Bærum SK, Fornebu FK, Stabæk Fotball and BVH Fotball).
