Kreis Aurich, NFV

Kreis Aurich, NFV was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Kreis Aurich, NFV, 114 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Kreis Aurich, NFV could be found in Group 20 together with BSB Bourgeons Sportifs de Batna 1, BK Häcken 1, Helsingborgs IF 1 and FK CSIKSZEREDA. Kreis Aurich, NFV continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Accademia I.C. with 0-4. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over KFV Segeberg 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Kreis Aurich, NFV comes from Südbrookmerland which lies approximately 560 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Südbrookmerland does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Ostfrisia Moordorf, SV, Süderneulander SV, KGS Wittmund and BSV Kickers Emden).
