Skepplanda BTK

Skepplanda BTK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Skepplanda BTK, 36 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Skepplanda BTK could be found in Group 4 together with Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, OGC Nice and Boo IS. Skepplanda BTK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Åsa IF with 2-5. In the Final, Askims IK won over Åsa IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Skepplanda BTK comes from Skepplanda which lies approximately 29 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skepplanda does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Holmalunds IF, FT14, Jitex Mölndal BK, Hisingsbacka FC, Älvängens IK, Mossens BK, Dalen/KFF, Örgryte IS, Solängens BK and Älvsborg FF).
