Ljusdals IF

Ljusdals IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Ljusdals IF, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Ljusdals IF could be found in Group 38 together with Leiknir, Södra Sandby IF/GoFIF and FK Fjellhamar. Ljusdals IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sollefteå GIF FF with 0-1. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Ljusdals comes from Ljusdal which lies approximately 510 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
