Lerkils IF

Lerkils IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Lerkils IF, 109 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Lerkils IF could be found in Group 5 together with IBFF, Våmbs IF and IFK Mariehamn. Lerkils IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FC Hessleholm with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Umeå won over FC Hessleholm and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Lerkils IF also participated in Girls 13 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/8 Final in G13 Play off A, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-4. Lerkils comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 31 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Särö IK, Balltorps/KSK, Kungsbacka IF, Lindome GIF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo AIF and Sävedalens IF).
