Gunnilse IS

Gunnilse IS was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Gunnilse IS, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Gunnilse IS could be found in Group 9 together with United Soccer Club, IFK Ölme and SSC Hagen Ahrensburg. Gunnilse IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kinna IF with 0-2. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Torslanda IK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Gunnilse IS also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/8 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against Västerås SK Ungdom with 4-5. Gunnilse IS originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 85 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Särö IK, Balltorps/KSK, Kungsbacka IF, Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Lindome GIF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten and Näsets SK).
