Fløya IF

Fløya IF was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Fløya IF, 61 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Fløya IF could be found in Group 12 together with Sollentuna FK, FJSG Bederkesa and Västerås IK. Fløya IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Umeå IK FF with 0-4. In the Final, LSK kvinner FK won over Klepp IL and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Fløya comes from Tromsø which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
