Varhaug IL

Varhaug IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Varhaug IL, 61 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Varhaug IL could be found in Group 13 together with TSV SÜDERBRARUP, Älvsjö AIK FF 2 and IFK Örby. Varhaug IL continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Västerås IK with 0-7. In the Final, FC Connecticut won over Södra Härene IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Varhaug comes from Varhaug which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Varhaug IL, the club Klepp IL does also originate from the area around Varhaug.
