Tverlandet IL

Tverlandet IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Tverlandet IL, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Tverlandet IL could be found in Group 19 together with Azalea BK, La Salésienne de Paris and Tidaholms GIF. Tverlandet IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna Södra FF with 5-6. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Tverlandet comes from Bodø which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bodø does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (IK Grand Bodø and FK Bodø Glimt).
