Sils IF

Sils IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sils IF, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Sils IF could be found in Group 25 together with Rapid Bukarest, IFK Östersund 2 and SV Bergstedt. Sils IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 0-5. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Torslanda IK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Sils comes from Götene which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Götene does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Skultorps IF, Lundsbrunns IF, Våmbs IF, Ulvåkers IF, Lidköpings FK and Johannesbergs LIF).
