Åsane IL

Åsane IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åsane IL, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Åsane IL could be found in Group 43 together with JSSL Arsenal Singapore, Bromstens IK and BK Häcken 1. Åsane IL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against CEF 18 Tucuman 1 with 2-4. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Åsane comes from Bergen which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Åsane IL, the club Sædalen does also originate from the area around Bergen.
