Gilleleje FK

Gilleleje FK was one of 19 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Gilleleje FK, 117 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Gilleleje FK could be found in Group 4 together with Ludvika, IFK, IK Zenith and Stuvsta IF. Gilleleje FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Tyresö FF with 2-3. In the Final, Spjutstorps IF won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Gilleleje FK also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/32 Final in G14 Play off B, but lost it against Team Södermöre with 1-8. Gilleleje FK comes from Gilleleje which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gilleleje does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Fortuna FF, Vejby IF, Glumslövs FF, Hittarps IK, Hørsholm Usserød Ik, Skævinge, ISS, Kullavägens BK, Ramlösa Södra FF, Helsingborgs IF and Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis).
