IL Vestbyen

IL Vestbyen was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IL Vestbyen, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof IL Vestbyen could be found in Group 6 together with IF Viken, Kinna IF and AF Amadou Diallo. IL Vestbyen continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vake-WIT with 0-2. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. IL Vestbyen also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/32 Final in B18 Play off B, but lost it against IFK Mariestad with 1-2. Vestbyen comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 640 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
