Gävle GIK/FK

Gävle GIK/FK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Gävle GIK/FK, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Gävle GIK/FK could be found in Group 15 together with FK Lillehammer, South Central FC and Hisingsbacka FC. Gävle GIK/FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FBK Karlstad with 2-4. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Gävle GIK/FK comes from Gävle which lies approximately 440 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gävle does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Sandvikens IF, Gefle IF, Årsunda IF, Sandvikens AIK and Brynäs IF/FK).
