Mjällby AIF

Mjällby AIF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Mjällby AIF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Mjällby AIF could be found in Group 44 together with Kauai Brasil, Ridabu IL and Vasalunds IF. Mjällby AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sædalen with 3-6. In the Final, Tokyo Verdy won over IF FF Hammarby and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Mjällby AIF comes from Sölvesborg which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sölvesborg does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Åhus IF, Olofströms IF, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF/VMA IK, Åhus HBK, Kristianstad BoIS, Nosaby IF, Kristianstads DFF, Ifö Bromölla IF and IFK Knislinge/Broby IF).
