Ersmark IK

Ersmark IK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ersmark IK, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Ersmark IK could be found in Group 38 together with TSV SÜDERBRARUP, Vallentuna BK, Conquest Football Academy and Volsungur. Ersmark IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SV Uhlenhorst-Adler with 1-2. In the Final, Tokyo Verdy won over IF FF Hammarby and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Ersmark IK also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Friska Viljor FC with 9-10. Ersmark comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Sandåkerns SK, Mariehem SK, Spöland Vännäs IF, Umedalens IF, IFK Umeå, Umeå Södra FF, Gimonäs Umeå IF and Umeå IK FF).
