Helsingborgs AIS

Helsingborgs AIS was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Helsingborgs AIS, 69 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Helsingborgs AIS could be found in Group 12 together with Knivsta IK, VJS and Volsungur. Helsingborgs AIS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Nyköping with 0-2. In the Final, IK Grand Bodø won over IFK Nyköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Helsingborgs AIS comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Billesholms IK, Fortuna FF, Vejby IF, Glumslövs FF, Hittarps IK, Häljarps IF, Landora, BK, Svalövs BK, Hørsholm Usserød Ik and Kullavägens BK).
