Väsby IK FK

Väsby IK FK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Väsby IK FK, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Väsby IK FK could be found in Group 5 together with Club Atlético Almafuerte, SK Haugar and Åre SLK. Väsby IK FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Klub LKG with 0-8. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Väsby FK comes from Upplands Väsby/Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Upplands Väsby/Stockholm does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Djurgårdens DFF, Hammarby IF, Alsike IF, Bollstanäs SK, Bällsta FF, Stuvsta IF, Håbo FF, Hammarby IF DFF, Enebybergs IF and IFK Lidingö FK).
