Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis

Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis could be found in Group 12 together with Walddörfer SV, Kvarnsvedens IK and SA United SC. Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Shenyang Football School with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Dundalk Schoolboys League and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Strövelstorps GoIF/IF Salamis comes from Ängelholm which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ängelholm does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Billesholms IK, Fortuna FF, Vejby IF, Glumslövs FF, Hittarps IK, Häljarps IF, Landora, BK, Svalövs BK, Hørsholm Usserød Ik and Kullavägens BK).
