Sags Soccer

Sags Soccer was one of five clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Sags Soccer, 196 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Sags Soccer could be found in Group 16 together with IF Brommapojkarna, Heath & Regents Park FC and Bergums IF. Sags Soccer continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Coerver Coaching Tunisie with 0-5. In the Final, BK Olympic Vit won over Athletico SC 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Sags Soccer comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nairobi does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Soccer School Kenya, International School of Kenya and Ligi Ndogo SC).
