Linköpings FC

Linköpings FC was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). In addition to Linköpings FC, 15 other teams from 6 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Linköpings FC could be found in Group 4 together with Sunnanå SK, Hammarby IF DFF and Birmingham City Ladies FC. Linköpings FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Team Viborg with 0-3. In the Final, FC Rosengård won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). Linköpings FC comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Borens IK, BK Derby, Motala AIF, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, BK Ljungsbro, FC Linköping City, Hjulsbro IK, Mjölby AI/FF and Mjölby Södra IF).
