Sandar IL

Sandar IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sandar IL, 214 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Sandar IL could be found in Group 6 together with Mälarhöjdens IK, Scandia United SA, Våmbs IF and Sandåkerns SK. Sandar IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Åtvidabergs FF with 0-5. In the Final, Dallas Texans won over Angered FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Sandar comes from Sandefjord which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Sandar IL, the club Runar, IL does also originate from the area around Sandefjord.
