Herrestads AIF

Herrestads AIF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Herrestads AIF, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Herrestads AIF could be found in Group 37 together with BK Derby, Lyn Fotball and Weiße Elf Nordhorn, Vfl. Herrestads AIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Athletic Club PARIS 15 with 0-1. In the Final, Lørenskog IF won over Bromstens IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Herrestads AIF also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/64 Final in B14 Play off A, but lost it against Lizzy Football Club with 0-2. Herrestads AIF comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 66 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Halvorstorps IS/ Trollhättans FK, Vallens IF, Stenungsunds IF, Ljungskile SK, Lödöse Nygård IK, Henåns IF, Orust GHMMS, Wargöns IK, Vänersborgs IF and Skoftebyns IF).
