Alingsås KIK

Alingsås KIK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Alingsås KIK, 109 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Alingsås KIK could be found in Group 12 together with Vaksala SK, Burträsk FF and Walddörfer SV. Alingsås KIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ramlösa Södra FF with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Umeå won over FC Hessleholm and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Alingsås KIK comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 39 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Sjömarkens IF, Sävedalens IF, Landvetter IF, Öjersjö IF, Kareby IS, Ale United, IK Kongahälla and Bergums IF).
