Xghajra Tornados FC

Xghajra Tornados FC was one of two clubs from Malta that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Xghajra Tornados FC, 214 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Xghajra Tornados FC could be found in Group 21 together with Sunnersta AIF 1, NSA and Sandarna BK. Xghajra Tornados FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Gimonäs Umeå IF with 3-4. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Fc Franconville PB and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Xghajra Tornados FC comes from Xghajra which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Xghajra Tornados FC, the club Paola Hibernians Football Nursery does also originate from the area around Xghajra.
