Galatasaray Lisesi

Galatasaray Lisesi was one of four clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Galatasaray Lisesi, 132 other teams from 25 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Galatasaray Lisesi could be found in Group 16 together with Högaborgs BK, Ellerau, SC and Ale U United. Galatasaray Lisesi continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CA Intercups Mexico with 0-3. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Galatasaray Lisesi comes from istanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around istanbul does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Performance Football Academy and Akatlar Football Academy).
