Sigtuna IF

Sigtuna IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sigtuna IF, 214 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Sigtuna IF could be found in Group 50 together with Ulricehamns IFK, South Dartmoor CC 2 and SK Sprint-Jeløy 2. Sigtuna IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 0-3. In the Final, Dallas Texans won over Angered FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Sigtuna IF also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/4 Final in B13 Play off B, but lost it against JSG Mitte NF with 0-3. Sigtuna comes from Sigtuna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sigtuna does also provide 53 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Djurgårdens DFF, Hammarby IF, Alsike IF, IK Sirius FK, Bollstanäs SK, Bällsta FF, Gamla Upsala SK, Håbo FF, Hammarby IF DFF and Enebybergs IF).
