Viggbyholms IK

Viggbyholms IK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Viggbyholms IK, 109 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Viggbyholms IK could be found in Group 14 together with NSA, Utbynäs SK and Älmhults IF. Viggbyholms IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hjuviks AIK with 2-4. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Viggbyholms comes from Täby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Täby does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Djurgårdens DFF, Hammarby IF, Alsike IF, Bollstanäs SK, Ingarö IF, Bällsta FF, Stuvsta IF, Håbo FF, Hammarby IF DFF and Enebybergs IF).
