IS Halmia

IS Halmia was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IS Halmia, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof IS Halmia could be found in Group 24 together with Monte Libano, Sandarna BK and Stade Français. IS Halmia continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against ASL SC with 1-3. In the Final, Tokyo Verdy won over IF FF Hammarby and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IS Halmia comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Halmstad does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Vinbergs IF, Skrea IF, BK Astrio, Halmstads BK, Laholms FK, IF Böljan, Centern, IF, HGH, Hasslöv/Skottorp and Falkenbergs FF).
