Lagans AIK

Lagans AIK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Lagans AIK, 214 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Lagans AIK could be found in Group 8 together with Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LAZ Stockerau and Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School. Lagans AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sandåkerns SK with 0-2. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Fc Franconville PB and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Lagans AIK comes from Lagan which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lagan does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Ljungby IF, Alvesta GIF and Grolanda IF/Floby IF).
