IFK Emtunga

IFK Emtunga was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Emtunga, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof IFK Emtunga could be found in Group 24 together with Norrala IF, Nyköpings BIS and KFV Segeberg. IFK Emtunga continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hällbybrunns IF with 7-8. In the Final, Spjutstorps IF won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. IFK Emtunga comes from Vara which lies approximately 83 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vara does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Halvorstorps IS/ Trollhättans FK, Falköpings KIK, Södra Härene IF, Vänersborgs IF, Trollhättans FK, Lidköpings FK and IFK Falköping FF).
